Job summary

Fugro is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer – Remote Operations & Connectivity to join our Perth-based team. You will provide hands-on L1/L2 IT/OT support for remote operations across APAC, supporting vessels, field teams and Geo-data workflows.

Work with global Deployment and ROC teams to deploy and optimise remote operations solutions, including system and network deployments. Some regional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in IT/Engineering with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
• Experience in L2 IT/OT support in remote sites or vessels.
• Experience with network troubleshooting, log analysis, and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 IT/OT support for remote operations and vessels.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents affecting remote operations.
• Document system configurations and support handovers.
