Job summary

Fugro is seeking an IT Support Engineer – Remote Operations & Connectivity to join our OT Services team. You will help design and support WAN/LAN networks for Fugro vessels, remote operating centers and offices, and serve as a subject matter expert on SD‑WAN and connectivity.

The role requires a tertiary IT/engineering degree with Cisco/Juniper certs, strong network design experience, and the ability to translate high-level designs into practical solutions while collaborating across stakeholders

Qualifications

Tertiary IT/Engineering degree with Cisco and Juniper certifications.
Experience in IT network design, operations and support.
Understanding of satellite communications systems (VSAT, Starlink) desired.

Responsibilities

Assess and analyze WAN/LAN reliability and performance at remote services.
Analyse and improve infrastructure and provide a deployment roadmap.
Translate high-level designs into practical SD-WAN/LAN solutions for remote services.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address issues and developments.
