Job summary

Fugro-Geoteam AS in Perth, WA seeks an experienced IT Systems Support Administrator to maintain and enhance critical IT systems across vessels and remote field environments. You will troubleshoot, patch, backup, and provide 2nd-line escalation for field support, ensuring safe and reliable global operations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree or certificate in Information Technology or related fields.
• Proven experience in similar IT support roles or in offshore/marine environments.
• Solid knowledge of desktop and server infrastructure and multiple platforms (Windows & Linux).
• Pro-active, data-driven problem solving and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for end users in field or remote operations centers.
• Coordinate with OT Services to support deployment of standard infrastructure and systems.
• Monitor ticket status and provide weekly reports; implement standard solutions.
• Perform periodic system maintenance, patching, backups and restores.
• Coordinate hardware maintenance and system updates; manage purchasing/logistics.
• Support cyber security initiatives and respond to incidents; escalate when needed.
• Create IT infrastructure and support documentation for reference.
