Job summary
Fugro is seeking an IT Support Engineer – Remote Operations & Connectivity to join the Perth-based team, supporting marine operations across the APAC region in the ROC environment. This hands-on L1/L2 role provides technical support across systems, infrastructure, and monitoring platforms enabling vessel operations, offshore surveys, and geodata workflows.

Qualifications
- Tertiary IT/Engineering degree with networking knowledge is required.
- Experience in L2 IT/OT support on remote sites or vessels is required.
- Experience with network troubleshooting, log analysis, and runbooks/escalation processes.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint security and identity/access management.
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on L1/L2 IT/OT support for ROC and vessels.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents for remote operations services.
- Serve as first contact for applications and technical guidance supporting ROC and vessel ops.
- Perform scheduled maintenance: patching, updates, endpoint support, audits, backups.
- Collaborate with global teams to deploy solutions and drive improvements.
