Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) is seeking a Part‑Time HR Advisor (2 days per week) for a 12‑month parental leave cover at our Melbourne site. You will support managers and staff across the employee lifecycle, contribute to recruitment, HR systems, policy development and organisational change in a fast‑paced, automated port environment.

You will provide practical HR advice, manage HR policies, maintain the Employment Hero system, coordinate reviews and remuneration processes,

Qualifications

• Approximately two years of HR experience.
• Experience providing HR advice to managers and employees.
• Exposure to recruitment, policy development and HR operations.
• Strong MS Office skills and data reporting abilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees.
• Advise on HR policies, legal compliance, contracts, leave and employment conditions.
• Maintain HR information system, Employment Hero, and support continuous system improvement.
• Coordinate performance reviews, remuneration reviews and performance‑management activities.
• Manage recruitment activities from job description to contracts.
• Prepare regular HR reporting and workforce insights for management and Board.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with HR processes, policies and employment requirements.
• Contribute to HR strategy, projects and initiatives aligned with organisational priorities.
