Job summary

The Parliament of Victoria is seeking a Senior People & Capability Coordinator for a 15-month parental leave cover. This hybrid role blends HR systems governance, data management and employee administration to support the HR team.

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will manage HR systems, SharePoint and people data, prepare reports for audits, coordinate recruitment and onboarding, and drive continuous improvements across processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR, administration or a similar role.
• Experience using HR systems, databases and digital platforms.
• Strong data reporting skills with Excel or Power BI experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
• Effective communication with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Continuous improvement mindset and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain HR systems, SharePoint, and people data.
• Prepare, analyse and report on people data for audits and decisions.
• Administer HR activities across the employee lifecycle, incl. recruitment and onboarding.
• Prepare employment contracts and HR documentation.
• Manage P&C vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and invoices.
• Support P&C projects from research to implementation.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and ways of working.
