Job summary

Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) invites applications for a part-time HR Advisor on a 12-month maternity cover. Be the trusted advisor to managers and staff, handling recruitment, HR systems, policy development and workforce reporting in a fast-paced, highly automated environment.

You will report to the Chief HR Officer and contribute to remuneration reviews, performance management and HR project work, while balancing flexible arrangements and local employment conditions.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1–2 years of HR experience.
• Experience providing HR advice to managers and employees.
• Exposure to recruitment, policy development and HR operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR and operational support to managers and employees.
• Advise on HR policies, contracts, leave and employment conditions.
• Maintain HR information systems and support process improvements.
• Coordinate recruitment and performance/remuneration reviews.
