Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Support Analyst to join a virtual team supporting operations in Queenstown. This role provides first-line IT support, resolves hardware and software issues, and helps ensure smooth computer systems and networks for employees in a remote setting.

You will respond to requests via phone, email, or chat, document actions, assist with user accounts, and escalate complex problems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Helpdesk Support Analyst or similar IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• A degree or certification in IT or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, software, and networks.
• Respond to help requests in a timely manner via phone, email, or other electronic channels.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating when necessary.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Maintain records of IT support requests, actions taken, and their resolutions.
• Assist with user account management and access permissions.
