Job summary

Bare is looking for an empathetic communicator to join our Funeral Arrangement team. You will work remotely with families, guiding them through arranging a funeral, showing care and coordinating every step of the process.

This is a phone-based role with occasional in-person meetings at our Brisbane area offices. You will report to the Regional State Lead and collaborate with a team of like-minded colleagues who are dedicated to supporting families during their time of need.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates empathy and ability to provide support to families in difficult times.
• Able to guide families with non-judgmental, compassionate communication.
• Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment and using technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from families seeking funeral arrangements.
• Proactively update families on the status of their arrangements.
• Listen to families and give them time to share their grief with a trusted person.
• Act as a trusted guide and support throughout the funeral arrangement process.
• Coordinate logistics, ceremony details, and communication with extended networks.
• Meet families in person at the local office when needed.
