Job summary

TheDriveGroup is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Team Lead to own the data capability and shape the cloud data platform. Based in Brisbane with fully remote options, you will blend hands-on engineering with architecture and technical leadership.

You will lead design and delivery of scalable cloud data solutions, with Snowflake at the center, and drive the AWS-to-Azure transition while mentoring engineers and aligning with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior/Lead or Principal level data engineering experience.
• Strong Snowflake platform design and data modelling expertise.
• Azure data engineering experience with AWS exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture and development of scalable cloud data solutions.
• Own data platform design, with Snowflake central.
• Navigate AWS to Azure transition.
• Hands-on data engineering, pipelines and platform development.
• Set engineering standards and scalable design patterns.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs.
• Balance hands-on delivery with leadership responsibilities.
