Job summary

Launch Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing IT team in Sydney. You will play a key role in designing, building, and evolving an Enterprise Data Warehouse to enable advanced analytics and informed decision-making across the organisation.

This greenfield project focuses on migrating data pipelines to Snowflake, modelling data, and delivering scalable data solutions for business users, with DataOps practices and SAFe-aligned agile delivery in collaboration with engineers and

Qualifications

7+ years of data engineering or data warehousing experience.
Hands-on Snowflake, DBT and SQL experience required.
DataOps/DevOps experience, preferably in Azure.
End-to-end data warehousing experience (ETL/ELT, modelling, analytics enablement).

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
Develop and optimise data models to support analytics and reporting use cases.
Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
Contribute to DataOps/DevOps practices, including pull requests, deployments, and CI/CD processes.
Support and continuously improve existing data pipelines and warehouse structures.
Collaborate within an agile delivery environment to deliver incremental value.
