Job summary

HumanAbility is seeking a Communications Coordinator to plan, draft and deliver clear, concise communications about our projects. You’ll manage content for our website, newsletters, events and social media, and work with the Senior Communications Advisor to coordinate across teams and with contractors such as designers and videographers.

The role supports internal and external messaging in a flexible, not-for-profit setting with potential travel and a nationwide remit within Australia.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism or similar or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Experience in a communications team within not-for-profit or government sector preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, draft and create clear, concise communications about HumanAbility’s projects.
• Manage internal and external communications across website, newsletters, events and social media.
• Collaborate with the Communications team and liaise with contractors as needed.
• Ensure content is accessible and appropriate for diverse audiences.
