Alignerr is seeking a Biochemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on advanced biochemical topics. You will design challenging problems across nucleic acids, proteomics, and drug interactions, and craft gold-standard solutions to benchmark AI reasoning.

The role is remote, hourly, and offers flexible hours (10–40 hours/week). PhD-level knowledge in biochemistry or related fields is required, with strong writing and communication skills for

Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry or related field (completed or near completion).
• Strong knowledge in structural biology, enzymology, metabolism or bioinformatics.
• Clear written communication of complex concepts.
• High attention to detail in reviewing biochemical content.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced biochemistry problems to test AI performance.
• Author step-by-step technical solutions serving as benchmarks.
• Evaluate AI-generated pathways, structures and derivations for accuracy.
• Identify reasoning errors and provide structured feedback to improve outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
