Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) to design and evaluate chemistry problems that benchmark AI models. This remote, hourly contract offers flexible scheduling and global collaboration, with workload 10–40 hours per week.

You will craft rigorous problems, provide detailed step-by-step solutions, and assess AI outputs for accuracy and depth, collaborating with researchers across undergrad to Master-level topics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master's degree in chemistry or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in advanced chemistry.
• Clear written communication of complex ideas.
• Detail-oriented and able to assess reasoning quality.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and asynchronously.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced chemistry problems to benchmark AI performance across domains.
