The University of Adelaide is seeking a Remediation Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of pay remediation activities across the Adelaide University. You will lead a specialist team to ensure employees receive correct entitlements through fair, accurate, and compliant processes.

Based in the Pay Accuracy and Entitlements Program at the City West campus, the role partners with payroll, employee relations, legal and business leaders to drive governance, continuous improvement and robust data

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in leading teams delivering payroll remediation, payroll operations, human resources compliance or audit activities in complex environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for stakeholder engagement and remediation delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic analysis and project evaluation for remediation initiatives.

  • Based in the Pay Accuracy and Entitlements Program at the City West campus
  • Full-time, fixed term contract until 31 July 2028
  • Salary Range: $116,320 - $130,498 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

Experience

Tojoin our community and thrive in this role,you will likely havethe following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in leading teams or workflows delivering payroll remediation, payroll operations, human resources compliance or audit activities in complex environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders and collaborators to provide advice, guide decision-making, and secure cooperation and engagement in remediation delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic advice, analysis and evaluation for identifying and managing remediation projects.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply legal advice, industrial instruments, pay rules or equivalent regulated frameworks.
  • Proven ability to apply strong data literacy and attention to detail to analyse and validate payroll data and calculations, and identify causation or non-compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive matters, including stakeholder escalations and compliance-related issues, and drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and control uplift.
