Qualifications

  • Experience in governance, committee or PMO roles within complex programs.
  • Ability to prepare high-quality executive briefings and reports.
  • Experience with risk and compliance controls in payroll or HR contexts.
  • Strong documentation management with version control.
  • Experience providing secretarial support for Executive Forums, Committees or Boards.
  • Experience in large transformation, remediation or regulatory programmes.
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to maintain decision and action registers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead governance, reporting, and project management disciplines for the transformation program.
  • Provide oversight, coordination, and insights to keep the program on track.
  • Partner with executives, project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Drive effective governance and delivery of key program outcomes.
  • Prepare high-quality executive materials and briefings.

  • Based in the People and Culture Pay Accuracy and Entitlements Program
  • Full-time, fixed term contract until 30 September 2028 at the City West campus
  • Salary Range: $135,226 - $144,672 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

The Pay Accuracy and Entitlements Program brings together experts across project management, governance, payroll, compliance, employee relations, change, and education to strengthen payroll practices, enhance compliance, and improve employee outcomes. As the Project and Governance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in bringing these workstreams together, providing program oversight, driving effective governance, and ensuring the successful delivery of key program outcomes. Experience

  • Demonstrated experience working in governance, committee or program management office roles within complex programs
  • Proven ability to prepare high-quality written materials for executive audiences, including briefings and reports
  • Proven ability of risk and compliance controls, including payroll or human resources contexts
  • Proven ability to manage documentation with high attention to detail and maintain version control standards
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information and coordinate governance and reporting activities
  • Demonstrated experience providing secretarial support for Executive Forums, Committees or Boards
  • Experience within large transformation, remediation or regulatory programmes
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining decision and action registers
