Job summary

Westpac in Melbourne is seeking a Relationship Director to lead senior banking relationships with commercial clients and help them realise business ambitions. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of account executives and specialists to deliver tailored banking solutions and support customers through funding needs.

The role requires building trusted relationships, identifying new opportunities, and working with specialist teams to deepen engagement.

• Experience managing commercial or corporate banking relationships with complex lending needs.
• Strong credit capability and confidence supporting sophisticated lending transactions.

What’s the role?

You’ll step into a senior banking role where you’ll build strong, lasting relationships with commercial customers and help their businesses realise their ambitions.

Working alongside an Account Executive and specialists from across Westpac, you’ll get to know your customers, understand what matters to their businesses and bring together the right expertise and banking solutions. You’ll support customers through their funding needs, identify opportunities to deepen relationships and connect them with the broader capabilities of Westpac.

You’ll also bring your experience to a collaborative team where knowledge is shared and great customer outcomes are shaped together.

This is a permanent full time opportunity based in Melbourne / Naarm, Wurundjeri Country, with flexible working arrangements.

What do I need?

• Experience managing commercial or corporate banking relationships with complex lending needs
