Job summary

Westpac Group in Melbourne is seeking a Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients. You’ll win new customers, develop large lending connections, and work with internal partners to drive growth.

You’ll also lead and coach your team while adapting to flexible hours based in the CBD or Mulgrave. Key focus areas include sourcing new business via marketing initiatives, maintaining a strong referral network, and delivering top-tier service to clients.

Job description

As a Relationship Manager, you'll manage and grow a portfolio of Commercial business clients. You'll focus on winning new-to-bank customers and developing large business connections with lending. This full-time role which can be based in the CBD or Mulgrave BBC, offers flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. You'll drive growth, source new business through marketing initiatives, and maintain a quality referral network. You'll be out meeting clients, building relationships, and working closely with internal teams. Additionally, you'll take the lead in coaching and mentoring your team.

• Strong experience in commercial lending, including working capital solutions and leveraged cashflow lending
• Excellent credit skills and experience with complex deal structuring
• Proventrack recordin business development andacquiringnew clients
• A well-established network of referral sources and brokers
• Natural people skills and a passion for helping clients succeed
