Carehero in Melbourne seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality community-based complex care. You will provide clinical oversight and hands-on care for clients living with complex health needs, including ventilator and tracheostomy support.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience with individuals with complex care needs.
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies.
• Strong manual handling skills with clinical care experience.
• Experience providing personal care and clinical support.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Australian Driver's Licence is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, professional, person-centred approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care and oversight to clients with complex health needs.

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Registered Nurses to join our growing Melbourne Team.

Working within the community, you will provide high-quality clinical care and oversight to clients with complex health needs, including spinal cord injuries and other high-intensity support requirements. You will work closely with support workers, allied health professionals, families, and the broader care team to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care is delivered at all times.

This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced clinical supports, including:

• Ventilator management
• Tracheostomy care
• Complex respiratory care
• Spinal cord injury support
• Clinical assessment and oversight of support teams

We offer a variety of consistent shifts across Mornings, Afternoon and Night Shifts, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while building meaningful relationships with clients and making a genuine difference in their lives.

You will also have access to ongoing training, mentorship, and clinical support from our experienced nursing and allied health teams to help you grow and succeed in your role.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience working with individuals with complex care needs
• Previous disability or community nursing experience (highly regarded)
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies
• Strong manual handling skills and experience
Experience providing personal care and clinical support
