Job summary

Anglican Care invites Registered Nurses to join our casual pool for the Mid North Coast, across Taree, Cundletown and Gloucester aged care facilities. You will lead and mentor at ward level, coordinating person-centred care and ensuring collaboration among staff.

We seek strong interpersonal and communication skills; availability of at least 3 shifts per week across morning, afternoon and night patterns in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Ability to deliver person-centred care and work in a team.
• Senior First Aid certificate maintained (ongoing requirement).
• National Police Check as relevant to Newcastle Anglican.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor at ward level, promoting effective teamwork.
• Coordinate and deliver person-centred care with strong communication.
• Demonstrate strong time management and ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication; current Driver's Licence.

Job description

We have casual opportunities for Registered Nurses to join our Anglican Care casual pool for the Mid North Coast.

Working across Taree, Cundletown + Gloucester aged care facilities, enjoy the supportive working environment Anglican Care offers.

You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level, participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person-centred care. Your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.

We do ask you to provide a minimum of 3 shifts per week availability across 2 shift patterns. Morning, afternoon and night shifts

Role & Responsibilities:

• Experience in palliative care, knowledge ofAN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people
• Demonstrated experience in leadership of employees
• Excellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Current Drivers Licence

• Registered Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Proven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individual.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)
