Job summary

Newcastle Anglican invites applications for Casual Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse roles across three Anglican Care facilities on the Mid North Coast (Taree, Cundletown, Gloucester). You may act as a team leader at ward level and mentor colleagues, promoting collaborative, person-centred care and effective communication.

We offer a base hourly rate with penalties and allowances, plus salary packaging and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in palliative and ageing care; knowledge of AN-ACC.
• Current driver’s licence and own transport.
• Available to work 3 days a week with at least 2 shifts.
• National Police Check (relevance of outcomes may be considered).

The Opportunity: Newcastle Anglican has casual opportunities for Registered Nurses & Enrolled Nurses to join its casual pool to work across 3 Anglican Care aged care facilities across the Mid North Coast region ( Taree, Cundletown + Gloucester). You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level, participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person centred care. Your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Experience in palliative care, knowledge ofAN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people
• Demonstrated experience in leadership of employees
• Excellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Current Drivers Licence
