Job summary

Apollo Care Alliance is recruiting Registered Nurses for casual weekday and weekend shifts at Tenterfield Care Centre, part of our two-home system. You’ll deliver safe, high-quality clinical care across Millrace and Haddington and lead overnight coverage to support continuity of care.

Ideal candidates hold AHPRA RN registration, with at least 2 years in aged care, strong communication, and a willingness to obtain an NDIS check. Competitive pay and supportive professional development await.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as a qualified Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in aged care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• NDIS Check (or willing to obtain) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives.
• Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans.
• Supervision and support for Personal Care Workers.
• Clinical care, including wound management, palliative care, and medication management.
• Liaison with medical and allied health care staff.
• Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Positive resident experience through a resident-first approach.

About Us

Tenterfield Care Centre is part of the Apollo Care Alliance and plays an important role in supporting the local community. Our two homes, Haddington and Millrace, work closely together to deliver respectful, person-centered care in a supportive, community-focused environment.

The Role

Due to internal promotions and opportunities, we are currently on the hunt for Registered Nurses at our Tenterfield Care Centre, where you will deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during Casual weekday and weekend shifts across our Millrace (36-bed) and Haddington (65-bed) residential aged care homes. Reporting to the Manager, you’ll oversee overnight clinical care, respond to changes in resident condition, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure resident safety and continuity of care.
