Job summary

Tenterfield Care Centre, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, invites Personal Care Workers to join our ageing-care team in NSW for holiday relief. You’ll provide compassionate daily care across Millrace and Haddington, with focus on resident comfort, mobility, and safety during weekday night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same).
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients.
• Experience in working in an Aged Care setting.
• Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.
• Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc
• Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors and assisting residents attending activities.
• Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals,
• Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts

What you will do

Who are you and what will you bring?

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients

• Available during the Christmas and New Year period for Part-Time shifts
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
