Job summary

Tenterfield Care Centre, part of Apollo Care Alliance in New South Wales, is recruiting Registered Nurses for casual weekday and weekend shifts across its Millrace and Haddington facilities. You will oversee overnight clinical care, respond to resident changes, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure safety and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registered nurse with current license and eligibility to practice.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in aged care and strong communication skills.
• NDIS check complete or willing to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and representatives.
• Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans.
• Supervision and support for Personal Care Workers.
• Clinical care including wound management, palliative care, and medication management.
• Liaison with medical and allied health staff.
• Provision of safe, high-quality care per Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Maintain a resident-first approach to ensure positive experiences.

The Role

Due to internal promotions and opportunities, we are currently on the hunt for Registered Nurses at our Tenterfield Care Centre, where you will deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during Casual weekday and weekend shifts across our Millrace (36-bed) and Haddington (65-bed) residential aged care homes. Reporting to the Manager, you’ll oversee overnight clinical care, respond to changes in resident condition, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure resident safety and continuity of care.

Who are you and what will you bring?
