Job summary

The Bays Aged Care, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality clinical care during weekday shifts in a 90-bed residential facility. This full-time role reports to the Manager and oversees overnight clinical needs, medication management, and supervision of care staff to ensure continuity of resident care.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Registration is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience delivering clinical care in aged care settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for person-centered care and dignity for residents.
• NDIS Check or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Holistic resident assessments with input from residents and families.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.
• Provide clinical care including wound management, palliative care and medication management.
• Liaise with medical and allied health staff to coordinate care.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care in line with quality standards.
• Foster a positive, resident-first experience.

Job description

The Role

As a Registered Nurse at The Bays Aged Care, you’ll deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during weekday shifts in our 90-bed residential aged care home. On a Full-Time basis, reporting to the Manager, you’ll oversee overnight clinical needs, respond to changes in resident condition, manage medications, and support care staff to ensure resident safety and continuity of care.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday on the AM shift.
