Job summary

Apollo Care Alliance is seeking a Part-Time Enrolled Nurse for our residential aged care facility in Tenterfield, NSW. You will work under the RN, leading the care team and ensuring care plans are followed while you provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents.

This role offers a supportive team culture, development opportunities, and a range of shifts. Registration with AHPRA and a willingness to obtain an NDIS check are required or desirable.

Qualifications

• Registration with the AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse is mandatory.
• 1 year of experience as an enrolled nurse in a residential aged care setting is desirable (new entrants considered).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain).
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the RN, you will lead the care team.
• Coordinate care in an allocated section of home and ensuring care plan compliance throughout the shift.
• Advising and allocating care staff.
• Recognition and escalation of the deteriorating resident.
• Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Promote a positive resident experience through a resident-first approach.
• Providing ADL care to residents.
• Maintain documentation as per organisational standards.
