Apollo Care Alliance's Tenterfield facility is seeking Personal Care Workers for full-time and part-time holiday relief. You will deliver compassionate, person-centered care, assisting with personal care, mobility, and safety according to each resident's plan, across Millrace and Haddington, including night shifts on weekdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
• Experience in working in an Aged Care setting
• NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Available during Christmas and New Year period for Part-Time shifts
• Passionate about person-centered care
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Personal Care Workers contribute to resident comfort and quality of life by providing safe, high-quality care in accordance with each resident's care plan. What you will do

The Personal Care Worker Is Responsible For Ensuring

• Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.
• Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc
• Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors and assisting residents attending activities.
• Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals,
• Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts

Who are you and what will you bring?

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
• Experience in working in an Aged Care setting
• Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Available during the Christmas and New Year period for Part-Time shifts
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
