Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to join our Sutherland facility, providing compassionate aged care across AM, PM and Night shifts. • Experience in residential aged care is desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to person-centred care and maintaining residents' dignity, choice and independence.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions.
• Positive, professional and respectful in interactions.
• Current police check and other necessary screenings.

Casual | Registered Nurse | Sutherland

Our Sutherland facility is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to work across AM. PM and Night shifts.

What You’ll Do:

Carry out initial and ongoing assessment, planning, and management of nursing care for residents

Develop personal care plans to ensure residents’ individual needs are identified and met, and monitor any changes in care plans

Participate in quarterly care plan evaluations, or more frequently as needed

Ensure all documentation required for quality care is prepared, maintained, monitored, evaluated, and up to date in accordance with SCC policies and procedures

Ensure completion and accuracy of all ACFI claims

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Previous experience in residential aged care is desirable.
