What You’ll Be Doing

• Conducting initial and ongoing assessments, planning and managing nursing care
• Developing and reviewing individualised care plans to meet residents’ changing needs
• Participating in quarterly care plan reviews (or more frequently where required)
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation in line with SCC policies and quality standards
• Ensuring the completion and accuracy of ACFI claims
• Supporting best practice clinical care in a collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing or residential care environments (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of aged care principles, practices and relevant legislation
• Excellent clinical nursing skills and ability to provide person-centred care
• Proficiency in medication management and administration
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families and colleagues
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to varying workloads in a casual capacity
• Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliability and punctuality in a casual work arrangement
