Job summary

Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to join our Greystanes facility and support residents across AM, PM and Night shifts. You will carry out assessments, develop care plans and document in line with policies.

To be successful, you must hold AHPRA Registered Nurse (Division 1), have strong clinical assessment skills, and a commitment to person-centred care. Previous aged care experience is desirable and a proactive team player.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of medication management and clinical documentation.
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to person-centred care and residents' dignity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out initial and ongoing assessment, planning and management of nursing care for residents.

Casual | Registered Nurse | Greystanes

Our Greystanes facility is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to work across AM. PM and Night shifts.

What You’ll Do:

• Carry out initial and ongoing assessment, planning, and management of nursing care for residents

• Develop personal care plans to ensure residents’ individual needs are identified and met, and monitor any changes in care plans

• Participate in quarterly care plan evaluations, or more frequently as needed

• Ensure all documentation required for quality care is prepared, maintained, monitored, evaluated, and up to date in accordance with SCC policies and procedures

• Ensure completion and accuracy of all ACFI claims

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Previous experience in residential aged care is desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of medication management and clinical documentation.
