Ozcare is hiring Registered Nurses for our Currimundi Aged Care Facility in Queensland. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to support residents’ health, wellbeing and dignity in a supportive, values-driven organisation.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, medication administration and leadership of care teams. Competitive hourly rates, uniform allowance and EAP are offered.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and relevant qualification.
• Current CPR certificate (or recognised equivalent) - BLS/ALS valid within past year.
• Current National Police Check (valid within the past three years).
• Current Influenza vaccination and at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination.
• Aged Care, Hospital or Community Health experience will be highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and deliver person-centred nursing care in line with contemporary aged care practice.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop, implement and review individualised care plans.
• Provide case management and ongoing evaluation of resident outcomes.
• Support AN-ACC documentation and contribute to funding-related assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments per standards.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health status and care needs.
• Collaborate with residents, families and multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement and promote best practice clinical care.

As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care that supports the health, wellbeing and dignity of our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working within a supportive and values-driven organisation.

Your Role

• Coordinating and delivering person-centred nursing care in line with contemporary aged care practice
• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and developing, implementing and reviewing individualised care plans
• Providing case management and ongoing evaluation of resident outcomes
• Supporting AN-ACC documentation requirements and contributing to funding-related assessments
• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with legislative and professional standards
• Providing clinical leadership, guidance and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants
• Monitoring, documenting and reporting changes in residents' health status and care needs
• Collaborating with residents, families, general practitioners and the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive care outcomes
• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and promoting best practice clinical care

Role Requirements

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse + relevant qualification
• Current CPR Certificate (or recognised equivalent - BLS/ALS valid within past year)
• Current National Police Check (valid within the past three years)
• Current Influenza vaccination and at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination
• Demonstrated competence in contemporary nursing practice
• Aged Care, Hospital or Community Health experience will be highly regarded
• Sound clinical assessment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Experience supervising and supporting care staff
• Good computer literacy and confidence using electronic clinical documentation systems
• Willingness to develop and strengthen AN-ACC knowledge and capability
