Ozcare Group seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality community-based care across all ages. You will manage complex wound care, palliative care, medications and chronic disease management in clients’ homes or community settings.

You will perform initial assessments, plan care with families and multidisciplinary teams, monitor progress, document outcomes and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current National Police Check (within past 3 years).
• Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
• Current Queensland driver’s licence.
• Current CPR Certificate.

Your Role

As a Registered Nurse you’ll be looking after the most important people in our organisation – our clients. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based care across all age groups within the community, supporting a variety of clinical needs including complex wound care, palliative care, medication administration and chronic disease management. Your tasks will include:

• Initial assessment of client needs and implementation of ongoing care, including coordination, case management and care planning
• Delivering holistic, client-centred care in consultation with clients, families and the multidisciplinary team
• Monitoring, evaluating and documenting client progress in line with professional and legal standards
• Administering and reviewing medications, treatments and clinical interventions
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and making referrals as required to support client outcomes
• Maintaining accurate, timely documentation and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives

How You’ll Benefit

You’ll become part of the Ozcare family, and in addition to the training and support that you would expect, you will also receive:

• $63.85 - $75.21 per hour (dependant on experience)

Role Requirements

• Candidates with the availability to work Monday to Friday (8:00am - 3:00pm) will be held in high regard.
• Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
• Current National Police Check (with validity in the past 3 years)
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) & relevant qualification
• Current Queensland driver’s licence
• Current CPR Certificate
• Good computer and mobile device skills
