Job summary

Ozcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labrador Keith Turnbull Place aged care facility on a permanent part-time basis. Morning and afternoon shifts are required, with night/weekend flexibility highly valued.

You will coordinate client care, assist with AN-ACC documentation, supervise Care Assistants, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes. A warm, patient-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Vaccination against influenza and at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Current CPR certificate and a valid police check.
• Ability to work a varied roster including nights and weekends.
• Sound clinical knowledge and good computer/mobile skills.

Responsibilities

Ozcare has a permanent part time position available for a Registered Nurse supporting our clients at our beautiful Labrador Aged Care Facility – Keith Turnbull Place. We are requiring mostly morning and afternoon availability.

Your Role

As a Registered Nurse you will be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Co-ordination of client care needs, including assessment, case management and developing individualised Care Plan
• Assisting the clinical management team with AN-ACC documentation and comprehensive assessments
• Providing support and supervision of Care Assistants
• Liaising with clients and their significant others, and members of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes
