Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver holistic care in a Coffs Harbour aged care service. Role includes leadership of staff, medication administration and resident engagement, with ongoing training and uniform provided.

Ideal candidates are available for night shifts, part-time or casual roles, and will operate under the Aged Care Act with a commitment to high standards and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and knowledge of aged care standards.
• Understanding of legislation and best practice in aged care.
• Ability to lead a care team and coordinate activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest standard of care for residents per standards and act as case manager.
• Deliver comprehensive care within the clinical framework and care model.
• Lead and coordinate care staff in daily activities and medication administration.
• Coach staff to develop skills and close knowledge gaps.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for holistic person-centred care.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and staff.

As a Registered Nurse you will deliver holistic care for residents that prioritises health, wellbeing, and community connection to support the changing needs of residents.

• Perm Part time and casual positions Coffs Haven Residential Care Service in Coffs Harbour
• Higher hourly rates $47.79 - $56.52 plus the benefit of salary packaging
• Ideally available Tuesday - Friday for night shifts 22:30 - 07:30

Your Contribution

• Provide the highest standard of care for residents in accordance with the Aged Care Standards and Aged Care Act
• Deliver comprehensive care and individual case management to residents according to the organisational clinical framework and care model.
• effective delivery of the nursing process through the effective resident entry, assessment, care planning and delivery, evaluation and exit by recognised professional standards.
• Lead and coordinate care staff to effectively deliver residents care, everyday activities, administration of medication and interventions that promote overall resident well-being and meaningful engagement
• Coach the care staff to enable them to deliver high quality care, develop skills and knowledge gaps.
• with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic person-centered approach
• Build positive relationships with Residents, families, and other staff members

The Essentials

• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Knowledge of legislation, regulations and evidence based best practice relevant to aged care
