Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities is seeking a Manager of Clinical Services to lead a dedicated team in Nowra, NSW, delivering care and services that feel like home for residents and their families. You will oversee clinical governance, staff development, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold quality standards across our aged care services in NSW.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration with demonstrated clinical leadership.
• Minimum two years' clinical management experience in aged care.
• Experience with AN-ACC funding and knowledge of the Aged Care Act.
• Experience maintaining quality systems and accreditation standards in care environments.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities for staff and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide registered staff and care employees to ensure the culture reflects an inclusive environment which puts residents and families' needs first.
• Ensure the sustainability and growth of the service through diligence with AN-ACC funding, care planning, and community engagement
• Liaise and negotiate with regulatory organisations including: Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, Government Departments, Trustee and Guardianship Boards
• Ensuring best practice medication management guidelines are observed and regularly monitored
• Actively identify opportunities for ongoing continuous improvements to policies, procedures, work instructions, and the workplace environment

Job description

As Manager of Clinical Services you will lead a team to create spaces and places that feel like home; places where our residents feel like they belong in a community they know and love and where they are known, valued and cared for.

• Permanent - Full Time, 38 hours per week position
• Located in Clelland Lodge in Nowra.

Your Contribution

• Lead and guide registered staff and care employees to ensure that the culture reflects an inclusive environment which puts the residents and families/representatives’ needs first
• Ensure the sustainability and growth of the service through your diligence with AN-ACC funding, care planning, and community engagement

The Essentials

• Current AHPRA registration with demonstrated clinical leadership skills;
• A minimum of two years’ clinical management experience within aged care;
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience applying the Aged Care Funding Instrument (AN-ACC) and knowledge of the Aged Care Act and Accreditation Standards;
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in maintaining and reporting on quality systems, continuous improvement and accreditation standards within the care environment, preferably aged and or healthcare system;
• Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and lead employees in correct policies, procedures and evidence based best practice;
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills;
• A professional attitude, dedicated team focus, and highly developed interpersonal and engagement skills;
