Job summary

Arcare Warners Bay is seeking a Registered Nurse to cover night shifts, delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care in a supportive, values-driven setting. The role involves health assessments, medication management, wound care, and detailed care planning.

You will maintain clinical records, collaborate with the care team, and respond to emergencies while upholding Arcare's commitment to compassionate end-of-life support and quality resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration is essential.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards is required.
• Able to work night shifts in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care including health assessments, monitoring vitals, and medication management.
• Assess, treat and manage wounds with infection prevention in mind.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase.
• Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
• Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life care.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare's values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents' needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support

What We're Looking For

• Current AHPRA Registration (essential)
