Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care for residents in a supportive, values-driven environment. The role requires engagement with standard clinical duties, care planning, and documentation using eCase.

You will work within Arcare’s established practices, focusing on resident wellbeing, wound and pain management, and end-of-life support, with eligibility for Australian Working Rights.

Qualifications

  • Current AHPRA Registration (essential)
  • Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards
  • Adaptable, passionate, and eager to learn
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Friendly, professional, and effective communication abilities

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care including health assessments, vital signs, and medication management
  • Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to residents’ needs
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
  • Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
  • Respond effectively to medical emergencies
  • Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life care

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

  • Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
  • Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
  • Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
  • Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
  • Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
  • End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support
