Job summary

Valmet is seeking an energetic Sales Manager to drive growth across Western Australia, leading business development, building strategic customer relationships and converting opportunities into revenue for Flow Control. You will work with customers, EPCs, OEMs, contractors and partners to deliver tailored solutions.

The role requires 4–7 years in technical sales, strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work independently while influencing stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of relevant experience in technical sales, business development or a related customer-facing commercial role.
• Proven ability to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.
• Experience managing customer relationships, key accounts and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development activities across Western Australia, identifying new customers, applications, projects and growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute regional sales and business development plans aligned with growth objectives.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, EPCs, OEMs, contractors, distributors and industry partners.
• Manage key accounts and sales opportunities from identification through technical and commercial development, negotiation and closure.
• Promote and sell Flow Control products and services while providing technical-commercial support to customers.
• Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products, solutions and service offerings.
• Develop installed-base, parts, consumables, service and contract opportunities through regular customer and site engagement.
• Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and adjust strategies to maximise sustainable growth and profitability.
• Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline, forecasts and opportunity reporting while delivering agreed orders received, sales and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with sales, service, product and factory teams to develop and deliver customer-focused solutions.
