Job summary

Elgas Limited in Bunbury, WA is seeking an Account Manager to grow and retain select customers while pursuing new business opportunities across Bunbury, South-West and surrounding areas. This role requires strong relationship-building, pricing and contract management, and the ability to travel regionally.

You will develop profitable strategies, substitute products when needed, and work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer experience while meeting ambitious growth targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field sales, account management, or territory sales roles.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to undertake regional travel as required.
• Strong sales and business development skills, including customer relationship management and negotiation.
• Sound understanding of pricing strategies, contract management, and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase the profitability of the portfolio through price & contract management and product substitution.
• Identify, develop and commercialise growth opportunities in existing customer accounts and new business prospects.
• Develop mutually rewarding relationships with prospective and current customers.
• Provide technical support and solutions and deliver outstanding customer experience.
• Work collaboratively across internal functions.
• Manage extensive regional travel, including long-distance driving (10–12 hours) and overnight stays as required.
