Job summary

Elgas is seeking a driven sales professional in Australia to achieve LP Gas sales budget and margins. The role involves maintaining and expanding a customer base, scheduling calls, and meeting monthly targets.

You will identify opportunities and pass leads to the team, while reporting on margins and competitor activity to drive business growth. Two to three years of field sales experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Two to three years field sales experience.
• Strong customer focus and results orientation.
• Negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve LP Gas sales budget and agreed margins and product group objectives.
• Facilitate bulk installation sales as appropriate.
• Maintain and develop existing customer base volumes and margins per Branch budget.
• Maintain customer relationships and schedule customer contact for maximum call value.
• Complete a minimum of 95% of calls as per monthly call schedule.
• Submit Monthly planners and reports by due dates.
• Identify load build opportunities and pass leads to relevant personnel for follow-up.
• Report on product category margins, volumes and competitor activity.
• Re-sign customer accounts as they fall due with Business Approval Model for re-signs.
