Elgas Limited in WA seeks a commercially focused Agent Channel Manager to drive retention, growth and performance of the agent and distributor network across Perth and the broader WA region.

This field-based role combines account management, business development, and compliance oversight, with regular site visits and travel to distributor locations to foster partnerships and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer focus with the ability to build trusted relationships with agents, distributors and internal stakeholders.
• Commercially driven, with a focus on retention, growth, margin improvement and customer outcomes.
• Confident negotiating agreements, resolving issues and managing competing priorities professionally.
• Comfortable working independently in the field, including regular travel to agent and distributor sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across different stakeholder groups.
• Safety and compliance focus with the ability to support practical improvements across storage, handling, administration and site standards.
• Clean and valid driver's licence.
• Experience in account management, channel management, distributor management, territory sales or a similar commercial role would be highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Managing, retaining and growing the Agent and Distributor network across Perth and wider WA.
• Building strong commercial relationships with existing agents, distributors and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying and securing new Agent and Distributor opportunities, including competitive wins and new market growth.
• Driving gross margin growth, customer retention and new customer acquisition through the channel.
• Developing sales and marketing initiatives to support channel growth, including use of allocated advertising budgets.
• Supporting the delivery of appliance, industrial equipment and allied product sales through the network.
• Completing regular site visits, stock takes and safety audits across agent and distributor locations.
• Ensuring storage, handling, administration and site compliance requirements are understood and maintained.
• Sharing best practice across the WA Agent and Distributor channel to support consistency, growth and safe operations.
