Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Sales Manager, WI Transport for Australia to lead profitable growth across VIC, TAS and SA. You will coach a regional sales team, develop sales plans with the WI Transport Director, and strengthen relationships with utilities, contractors and distributors.

Based in Melbourne, travel interstate is required to support customers and industry engagement. The role calls for a strong track record in water infrastructure markets and tender management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales, marketing, BD or account management.
• Experience in municipal/utilities/industrial water sectors is a plus.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team development abilities.
• Proven track record in strategy, pipeline and growth.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional sales team to hit sales, revenue and growth targets.
• Develop and execute sales and business plans with leadership.
• Drive growth across municipal, utilities and industrial water markets.
• Build relationships with customers, utilities, contractors and distributors.
• Identify tenders and opportunities; manage tender submissions.
• Maintain a robust pipeline with market insights and lead generation.
• Utilise Salesforce and reporting to track KPIs and forecasts.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with internal teams.
• Represent Xylem at trade shows and industry events.
