Job summary

DKSH is seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Primary Care for VIC West to lead a newly established national team across a cardiometabolic portfolio. You will guide GP Sales Representatives, translate national strategies into regional priorities, recruit and onboard, and coach for high performance.

You will build operating rhythms, set performance standards and collaborate with the National Sales Manager to ensure ethical, compliant field execution and growth across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare or another performance-driven sales environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching or mentoring capability.
• Strong commercial, analytical and planning skills, translating performance data and market insights into practical action.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to balance regional priorities with national objectives and deliver consistent execution.
• Collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach, with resilience and confidence in a changing environment.
• Commitment to ethical sales practices, compliance and professional standards.
• Pharmaceutical sales leadership experience will be highly regarded, particularly within primary care or a specialist therapeutic area.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional team of GP Sales Representatives to achieve sales, customer engagement and territory objectives.
• Translate national strategy into regional business plans and measurable targets.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and team readiness for effective field execution.
• Coach through regular field coaching, feedback, performance reviews and development plans.
• Embed operating rhythms and customer engagement standards with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Use sales data, CRM insights and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Align regional execution with national priorities and client objectives with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Provide regional performance updates and insights to support national decision-making.
• Ensure all activities meet pharmaceutical codes, policies and compliance requirements.
