Job summary

Lowes Menswear is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead and support stores across Victoria's Eastern region. The role focuses on driving sales and profitability, developing Store Managers, and maintaining high operational standards to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will oversee multiple locations, coach teams, monitor KPIs, and partner with Head Office to execute business priorities. A strong track record in retail leadership and willingness to travel is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management.
• Proven experience managing multiple retail locations.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and operational performance.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Experience in apparel, fashion or specialty retail will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, profitability and overall store performance across the region.
• Lead, coach and develop Store Managers and their teams.
• Monitor sales, wages, profitability and key performance indicators.
• Conduct regular store visits and support performance improvement.
• Maintain high standards across customer service, merchandising, stock management and store presentation.
• Support recruitment, succession planning and talent development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and WHS requirements.
• Partner with Head Office teams to deliver business initiatives and priorities.
