Hastings People is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a beloved regional hotel in NSW's Northern Rivers. You will oversee all facets of the venue, balancing warm hospitality with commercial performance to deliver consistent guest experiences.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a visible presence in the pub, and the ability to build strong relationships with regular patrons, suppliers and the local community. Flexible, community-focused leadership is key.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within a multi-faceted pub, hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, labour, costs and overall venue profitability.
• Hands-on leadership approach with ability to recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team.
• Sound knowledge of hospitality operations, licensing obligations and gaming compliance.
• Genuine appreciation for regional hospitality and community engagement.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a motivated team, fostering a positive culture built around service, accountability and teamwork.
• Manage day-to-day operations across food and beverage, gaming, entertainment and retail, ensuring guest experience.
• Drive financial performance through cost management, labour planning and revenue development.
• Build relationships with local patrons, suppliers and community stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, WHS, responsible service and regulatory requirements.
