Job summary

The Regional Manager – Greater Sydney role within Premier’s Department NSW leads a geographically dispersed team serving Aboriginal communities across the Greater Sydney region. You will provide strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and program delivery for OCHRE initiatives, ensuring alignment with policy objectives and measurable community outcomes.

This 2-year temporary position offers Clerk Grade 11/12 remuneration ($154,231 - $178,369 per year), plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Leadership and Team Management: Manage and supervise a geographically dispersed team to deliver OCHRE-related outcomes for Aboriginal people in NSW.
• Project and Program Delivery: Lead project planning, budgeting, risk management, and monitoring/reporting.
• Aboriginal Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Aboriginal governance bodies and community organisations to strengthen governance and processes.
• Contract and Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and oversee external providers to meet quality, budget and timelines.
