Job summary

NSW Reconstruction Authority is hiring Senior Engagement and Programs Officers to operate regionally across NSW. You will coordinate high-impact Aboriginal outcomes projects, build relationships with Aboriginal communities, partner services, and internal stakeholders, and drive social, economic, and cultural outcomes.

Based in regional NSW with flexible/hybrid working arrangements, the role emphasizes culturally safe practices, reporting, and close collaboration across divisions to deliver

Qualifications

• Aboriginal identity is an essential requirement of the role.
• Current NSW Driver's License is required.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays in remote areas.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from inception to completion with robust plans and budgets.
• Delivering culturally appropriate consultation to identify community needs.
• Promoting culturally safe workplace practices and engaging with communities and stakeholders.
• Providing expert advice on 'Closing the Gap' initiatives and producing reports and briefings.
