Job summary

Premier’s Department is seeking a Regional Manager for Greater Sydney to lead a dispersed team delivering OCHRE initiatives with Aboriginal communities, government agencies, and NGOs. The role focuses on strategic leadership, project delivery, and stakeholder collaboration across NSW.

The role is 2 years temporary with a view to ongoing Clerk Grade 11/12, based in the Greater Sydney area, with a base salary of $154,231–$178,369 per annum plus super and leave loading.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a geographically dispersed team across a large region.
• Experience delivering complex projects with budgets and timelines.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with Aboriginal communities and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a geographically dispersed team to deliver OCHRE projects.
• Oversee project planning, execution, budgets, risks and reporting.
• Engage Aboriginal governance bodies and community organisations for governance and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and manage external providers to meet quality and timelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government, NGO, private sector and internal stakeholders.
• Provide high‑level strategic advice and progress updates to executives.
