Job summary

The Regional Manager - Greater Sydney (Identified) leads a geographically dispersed team across the Greater Sydney region to improve outcomes for Aboriginal communities. You will oversee project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and policy-aligned program delivery within OCHRE and related initiatives.

This is a two-year temporary appointment with an opportunity for ongoing Clerk Grade 11/12, base salary $154,231 – $178,369 per annum, plus superannuation, located in the Greater Sydney area.

Qualifications

• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage contracts and vendor performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a geographically dispersed team across Greater Sydney.
• Oversee project development, budgeting, risk mitigation, and reporting frameworks.
• Engage Aboriginal governance bodies and community organisations to strengthen governance and outcomes.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee external providers to meet quality, budget and timelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across Aboriginal communities, government, NGOs and private sector.
• Provide high-level strategic advice and project updates to executives.
