Job summary

Multiplex is seeking an IT Technical Support Engineer Lead to guide a regional team in delivering end-user computing support across offices and construction sites. You will manage day-to-day workloads, mentor engineers, and coordinate with vendors to resolve complex issues.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and a track record of improving service delivery in IT support environments. Travel across Sydney region is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Information Technology and at least four years in IT support.
• Experience leading IT support professionals, coaching and performance management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across corporate offices, sites and projects.
• Willingness to travel regularly to metropolitan and regional construction sites with a valid driver’s licence.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems, AD, Azure, Intune, networking, server configuration and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with device imaging, software and asset management, CMDBs and ITIL-based service delivery environments.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Proactive and collaborative leadership delivering high-quality support outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a regional Technical Support team of up to five engineers.
• Resolve end-user technology issues across offices and projects (L1–L3).
• Oversee workloads, mentor team members and manage service requests per SLAs.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve complex issues and restore services.
• Partner with the IT Technical Support Manager to ensure delivery of regional IT support services.
